According to the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, the construction of 7 primary and secondary schools in border communes creates favorable learning conditions for children of ethnic minorities, demonstrating the government's attention to the education sector.
Seven border communes of Gia Lai province benefit from this program, including: Ia Puch, Ia Mo, Ia O, Ia Chia, Ia Pnôn, Ia Nan and Ia Dom.
The project has a total investment of more than 1,516 billion VND from the central and provincial budgets, with a scale of 212 classrooms with about 7,420 students.
The schools are designed in a modern and synchronous manner, with learning areas, dormitories, cafeterias, teachers' living areas and complete technical infrastructure systems.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung expressed his joy when the construction of the 7 schools began. When completed, these will be model, modern, friendly schools - places to nurture the dreams and aspirations of students in the border areas.
The project is a vivid symbol of the policy of national solidarity and the care of the Party and State for the young generation in disadvantaged areas.
He requested Gia Lai province to concentrate resources, construct on schedule, ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and avoid formalities and waste.
