Durian price today September 14: Ri6 stable, Thai VIP still high

On September 14, 2025, the domestic durian market continued to record price stability, although there were differences between each type and each region. In particular, Thai VIP durian still maintained the highest price, up to 105,000 VND/kg in the Central Highlands and Binh Phuoc provinces, becoming a highlight in the market.

In Dong Nai

Thai durian grade A is purchased at around 78,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, grade B 58,000 - 60,000 VND/kg, grade C negotiable. Defective Thai durians have lower prices, ranging from 40,000 - 65,000 VND/kg depending on the type.

The price of Ri6 type A is kept at 40,000 - 43,000 VND/kg, type B is around 25,000 - 30,000 VND/kg.

In Tay Ninh

In Tay Ninh area, the price of Thai durian grade A fluctuates between 80,000 - 82,000 VND/kg, grade B at 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.

Ri6 here is more stable, with type A around 40,000 - 43,000 VND/kg, type B remains at 25,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands

In Gia Lai , the price of Thai durian grade A is commonly 75,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, grade B 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. Ri6 grade A fluctuates 40,000 - 45,000 VND/kg, grade B about 30,000 - 35,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak , VIP Thai durian maintains the highest market price of 105,000 VND/kg. Thai durian grade A fluctuates at 80,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, while Musang King is around 65,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. Ri6 variety in this area remains stable, grade A is around 40,000 - 43,000 VND/kg.

In Lam Dong alone , Thai durian type A is commonly priced from 75,000 - 79,000 VND/kg, type B 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. Ri6 type A remains priced at 40,000 - 45,000 VND/kg, type B 25,000 - 30,000 VND/kg.

In general, the durian market on September 14 was stable, with high prices concentrated in the Thai VIP variety, while Ri6 remained around VND40,000/kg, reflecting stable consumption and potential export demand.
