Analysis and forecasting
This price increase comes after the market has just experienced a week of sharp price adjustments of 3,000 - 3,500 VND/kg. According to experts, the price range of 150,000 - 152,000 VND/kg is likely to remain stable in the short term and may increase slightly.
The reason is said to be limited supply while demand remains high. Many exporters predict that prices may continue to increase in the final weeks of the year, when global demand for the holiday season in Europe and the US increases sharply. If these factors continue to be favorable, Vietnam's black pepper export price may reach 6,800 - 7,000 USD/ton.
