World gold price today June 5, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 3,377.65 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.99% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (26,232 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 106.8 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is about 10.4 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

“There is a lot of geopolitical uncertainty around Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Syria and China, which is driving investors to gold,” said Daniel Pavilonis, senior market strategist at RJO Futures. “Market sentiment remains positive, and while traders don’t expect a big rally right away, there is still a lot of room for gold to rise.”
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Russia is concerned that escalating tensions in Iran could lead to a large-scale confrontation.
However, Mr. Pavilonis also noted: “The market is currently moving sideways and needs stronger signals, such as a geopolitical escalation, to trigger a stronger buying wave of gold as an inflation hedge.”
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday also said Chinese President Xi Jinping was tough and that it would be difficult to reach a deal, just days after he accused China of violating its commitment to reduce tariffs and trade barriers.
