Domestic gold price decreased
Gold price early morning April 25, the price of 9999 round gold rings at SJC and PNJ were listed at 113.5 million VND/tael for buying, and 116.5 - 116.8 million VND/tael for selling. DOJI Company also adjusted the price of gold rings to 113.3 - 115.4 million VND/tael.
The price of SJC gold bars at famous trading companies such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI, Bao Tin Minh Chau, is listed at 118.5 - 121 million VND/tael.
There was no significant adjustment after the strong increase on the morning of April 24. Currently, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed gold rings at 117 - 120 million VND/tael, an increase of about 2 million VND/tael compared to yesterday.
Meanwhile, converted to USD exchange rate, the world gold price is currently equivalent to about 106 million VND/tael, about 15.5 million VND lower than the domestic price.

World gold prices fluctuate after Trump's reaction
The precious metals market has seen a sharp pullback, a day after gold hit a record high above $3,500 an ounce. However, Bart Melek, head of commodity strategy at TD Securities, said that the rally is far from over as few people still own the precious metal and it still looks cheap when compared to some other economic data.
At 6:30 p.m. on April 24 (Hanoi time), the spot gold price on the international market reached 33,341.70 USD/ounce, an increase of 51.7 USD compared to the previous trading session.
This fluctuation was quite intense and very surprising. In the early morning of April 24, after falling more than 90 USD, below the 3,300 USD mark, the gold price immediately "turned around", starting to increase 40 USD in just over an hour, then continued with increasing sessions, then consolidated at a high price.
In financial markets, the US dollar also rose, which helped to push gold prices lower. The greenback rose more than 1% against major currencies such as the yen, euro and Swiss franc. A stronger US dollar makes gold more expensive for buyers using other currencies.
Before this "turnaround", the gold market has been under pressure in the past few days as demand for risky assets recovered, after US President Donald Trump affirmed that he had no plans to fire Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, but only urged him to act soon on interest rates. Last week, Fed Chairman Powell said that the central bank would wait for more data on the direction of the economy before adjusting its current monetary policy.
