At the end of the session on June 2, gold brands were buying at 115.8 million VND/tael and selling at 117.8 million VND/tael. Phu Quy SJC gold was buying at 500,000 VND lower than other brands.
The gold ring market recorded an adjustment session increasing both buying and selling prices.

The price of gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 113.5 - 116.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
The price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI is listed at 111.5 - 113.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group trades gold rings at 110.8 - 113.8 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
PNJ brand gold rings are bought at 111.2 million VND/tael and sold at 113.8 million VND/tael.

World gold price today
World gold prices jumped sharply, with spot gold prices increasing by $96.90 to $3,386.68/ounce. Gold futures prices also increased by 1.6% to $3,369.10/ounce.
Gold prices are recording solid gains in the first trading session of the week, due to strong demand for safe havens, as trade tensions between the world's two largest economies have increased. Investors are also cautious about ambiguous signals about US President Donald Trump's import tax policy, causing demand for safe assets such as gold to increase sharply.
In addition, the Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to escalate, adding pressure to risk assets and supporting gold prices. Tim Waterer, Chief Market Analyst at KCM Trade, said that with trade and geopolitical concerns on the rise, it is no surprise that gold started the new week on an upward trend.
Sharing the same view, expert Fawad Razaqzada of City Index and FOREX.com said that, in the context of concerns about trade war, fiscal instability and public debt ceiling, the market is entering a volatile phase and this is an ideal environment for gold.
Another important factor supporting the rise in gold prices is the weakening of the US dollar. The greenback fell against other currencies after Mr. Trump announced plans to double tariffs on steel and aluminum imports to 50%. A weaker US dollar makes gold more attractive to holders of other currencies, boosting demand for the precious metal.
Gold has long been seen as a hedge against economic and political turmoil. Analysts say that if global markets continue to face major volatility, gold prices are likely to remain high in the short term.
With the domestic gold bar price decreasing and the world gold price listed at Kitco at 3,386.68 USD/ounce (equivalent to about 107 million VND/tael converted according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees), the difference between domestic and world gold prices is about 10.8 million VND/tael.
