The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings continues to surprise.

(NLDO) – Each tael of SJC gold bars and 99.99 gold rings increased by a million dong this morning, to 91 million dong/tael.

On the morning of February 5, SJC and PNJ Gold Companies simultaneously listed the price of SJC gold bars at 88 million VND/tael for buying and 91 million VND/tael for selling, respectively increasing 500,000 VND to 900,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.

Gold prices rose for the third consecutive day since trading opened after the Lunar New Year holiday. Gold bar prices also climbed to their highest level this year, heading towards the peak of more than 92 million VND/tael set last year.

The difference in buying and selling price of gold bars has been pushed up by businesses to 3 million VND/tael.

Some businesses such as Mi Hong Company sell gold bars at a lower price, around VND89.7 million/tael.

SJC gold bar price reaches highest level in many months, reaching 91 million VND/tael

Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds also continued to increase. SJC Company listed the buying price at 88 million VND/tael, selling price at 90.5 million VND/tael, an increase of nearly 1 million VND/tael compared to the end of yesterday.

The price of gold rings varies between brands and businesses. A plain round ring at Bao Tin Minh Chau is sold at a historical peak of 90.95 million VND/tael.

PNJ Company sells plain gold rings for 90.7 million VND/tael while Mi Hong sells for 89.7 million VND/tael.

In the international market, gold prices continued to fluctuate strongly today. This morning, Vietnam time, the world gold price was at 2,849 USD/ounce, up about 40 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. Gold prices have not stopped rising sharply in the surprise of many investors.

Last night's trading session, gold prices broke the old peak and set a new peak. Today's gold price is at an all-time high, far surpassing the $2,790/ounce mark set last year.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 87.7 million VND/tael.
