Phu Quy Group set the price of its plain round gold rings at 115 million VND/tael (buy) - 118 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of the previous day.

The price of SJC gold bars here continues to be set at 118.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 121.3 million VND/tael (sell).

Yesterday, the gold price increased by 1.8 million VND/tael, to the selling price of 121.3 million VND/tael - the highest level since April 24; the price of gold rings increased by 1.4-1.5 million VND/tael (buying price) and 1.5-1.6 million VND/tael (selling price).

In the world market, early this morning, the gold price was trading at 3,318 USD/ounce, down 20 USD compared to the same time the previous day. By 11am, the price of the precious metal continued to decrease to 3,304.4 USD/ounce. The international gold price decreased in the context of the increasing USD price.

The current converted world gold price is nearly 17 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
