Domestic gold price continues to rise, central exchange rate increases sharply by 51 VND

Opening this morning (April 25), two domestic gold brands continued to increase by 500,000 VND following the increase in world gold prices, the central exchange rate also increased sharply by 51 VND.

At 9:20 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company, Phu Quy Company and Doji were listed at 119.5-121.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 500,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

Similarly, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company is currently trading at 115.5-118.5 million VND/tael (buy-sell), an increase of 500,000 VND per tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company announced the price of plain round gold rings from 117.5-120.5 million VND/tael (buy/sell), 500,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also increased by 500,000 VND per tael, currently trading around 114-117 million VND/tael.

Due to the high price of gold, businesses have left a difference of 2-3 million VND per tael, which puts the risk on the customer.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 3,356 USD/ounce, up 26 USD compared to the previous session. This price is equivalent to 105.7 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank , lower than the domestic price by 13-15.5 million VND/tael depending on the business.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on April 25 at 24,897 VND/USD, up 51 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank bought at 25,805 VND/USD and sold at 26,195 VND/USD, up 21 VND.

Similarly, VietinBank announced from 25,830-26,195 VND, also increased by 21 VND. BIDV Bank increased by 20 VND, currently trading around 25,830-26,190 VND/USD.

Eximbank also increased by 24 VND, currently trading around 25,830-26,194 VND/USD.
