Similarly, WTI oil price was at 61.87 USD/barrel, down 1.81% (equivalent to a decrease of 1.14 USD/barrel).

This week, many economic data will impact oil prices. According to Reuters, the US monthly employment report, data on US economic growth - GDP in the first quarter of 2025 and the March personal consumption expenditure price index - an important inflation indicator - will be market-sensitive events this week.
The monthly U.S. jobs report, due on May 2, could be the biggest test for the market. The labor market has shown stability in recent months and employment is expected to have increased by 135,000 jobs in April, according to a Reuters poll.
“Tariff news is very market-moving,” said Michael Mullaney, director of global market research at Boston Partners. “If there’s positive news on tariffs, the market goes up. If there’s negative news on tariffs, the market goes down.”
Markets will also pay attention to the Canadian federal election, US consumer confidence index, ISM manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI).

Domestic retail gasoline prices on April 29, 2025 will be applied according to the adjustment session from 3:00 p.m. on April 24 by the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Similarly, the price of diesel 0.05S: Increased by 487 VND/liter, to 17,520 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 531 VND/liter, to 17,715 VND/liter; mazut 180CST 3.5S increased by 564 VND/kg, to 16,524 VND/kg.

In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
Thus, from the beginning of 2025 to now, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 17 adjustment sessions, including 7 decrease sessions, 7 increase sessions and 3 opposite sessions.
