Gasoline price down to below 19,000 VND/liter

During the operating period on April 17, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.

Accordingly, compared to the current base price, E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 384 VND/liter to 18,498 VND/liter, RON 95 III gasoline decreased by 351 VND/liter to the new price of 18,856 VND/liter.

Gasoline price drops below 19,000 VND/liter from 3:00 p.m. on April 17, 2025.

Diesel and kerosene prices decreased by VND206 and VND229, respectively, to VND17,037 and VND17,184 per liter, respectively. Meanwhile, fuel oil increased by VND58 per kilogram to VND15,960 per kilogram.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world oil market from April 10-16, 2025 was affected by major factors such as: fluctuations in US tax rates on goods of trading partners, increased oil production of OPEC+, the International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasting that oil demand will grow slowly in 2025, the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... These factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down depending on the commodity in recent days.
