Successfully rescued two Russian tourists lost on Fairy Mountain

At 1:30 a.m. this morning (September 4), the rescue force of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province, in coordination with relevant units, successfully rescued two Russian tourists, Kurohkin Sergei (born in 1987) and Tikhov Aleksei (born in 1994), who were lost and exhausted while climbing Co Tien Mountain (North Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province). Currently, the health of both has gradually stabilized.

After reaching the two tourists on Co Tien Mountain, that same night, the rescue team brought the two people down the mountain safely.

Previously, late on September 3, the owner of an apartment on April 2 Street (North Nha Trang Ward) urgently reported to the rescue team that two Russian tourists had left the apartment in the afternoon of the same day to climb Co Tien Mountain to explore . However, many hours later, the owner of the apartment received a notice from the two tourists that they were lost and were gradually exhausted, needing urgent assistance to get down the mountain safely.

At 1:30 a.m. on September 4, rescue forces brought two Russian tourists down the mountain safely.

Immediately after receiving the news, the leaders of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police quickly mobilized a working group and vehicles to carry out the mission. The rescue force closely coordinated with the Bac Nha Trang Ward Police, local authorities and the apartment owner to successfully search and rescue the two tourists. Despite the difficult terrain and the dark night, both were brought down the mountain safely.

The incident continues to be a reminder of the importance of careful preparation and safety when participating in nature exploration activities. Khanh Hoa authorities have demonstrated a sense of responsibility and efficiency in rescue work, ensuring the safety of tourists.
