At least 60% of communes, wards and towns have cultural, artistic, physical education and sports clubs for the elderly to attract the elderly to participate in training. At least 50% of communes, wards and towns have intergenerational self-help clubs or club models to care for and promote the role of the elderly. At least 80% of communes, wards and towns have funds to care for and promote the role of the elderly.
100% of the elderly have health insurance cards; at least 90% of the elderly receive timely primary health care, regular health check-ups, and health monitoring records; 100% of the elderly when sick or suffering from an epidemic receive medical examination and treatment and receive care from their families and the community.
At least 50% of general hospitals, specialized hospitals (except pediatric hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation hospitals), and traditional medicine hospitals with 50 beds or more must organize separate examination rooms for the elderly in the examination department, arrange inpatient beds for the elderly, and 50% of provincial general and specialized hospitals have geriatric departments.
Every year, at least 80% of the elderly in difficult circumstances and with illnesses have access to health services in various forms; 70% of the elderly with disabilities are screened, have their disabilities detected and receive intervention and rehabilitation; at least 200 elderly in difficult circumstances without caregivers are cared for, rehabilitated and provided with appropriate assistance at rehabilitation facilities and social assistance facilities. |
100% of the elderly with severe mental illness and those living on the streets are admitted, cared for, and rehabilitated at social assistance facilities. 100% of the elderly do not have to live in temporary, dilapidated houses. 100% of the elderly who are poor and have no one to support them are entitled to social assistance policies according to the law...
To achieve the set goals, the Provincial People's Committee has also set out 12 tasks and solutions. Specifically: Support vocational education, create jobs and support livelihoods and housing for the elderly; develop a network of social assistance facilities providing care and rehabilitation services for the elderly; promote the role of the elderly; provide medical assistance and health care for the elderly; support the elderly in participating in cultural, sports and tourism activities; support the elderly in using information and communication technology; provide legal assistance for the elderly; prevent epidemics and mitigate natural disasters for the elderly; improve the capacity of civil servants, public employees and collaborators in supporting the elderly; strengthen communication and international cooperation on the elderly; build and perfect a system to monitor, supervise and evaluate the implementation of strategies and databases on the elderly; support activities for the elderly association.
