In 2024, all levels and sectors will make many efforts to lead, direct, organize and effectively implement the fight against crime, human trafficking, HIV/AIDS, drugs, prostitution and build a mass movement to protect national security.

The functional sectors have reduced crimes related to social order, the whole province detected 1,189 cases (down 8.8% compared to 2023); the rate of investigation and discovery of cases is high (reaching 90.41%). Crimes and violations of the law on economic management order, corruption and positions were detected and handled more, specifically 165 cases, 152 subjects were detected transporting, trading in prohibited goods, trading in goods of unknown origin, mainly cigarettes, shoes, sports equipment of all kinds.

The rate of handling denunciations, reports of crimes and recommendations for prosecution exceeded the set target (reaching 90.08%). The investigation and handling of crimes did not involve forced confessions or torture. The work of mobilizing, fighting against and preventing crimes and violations of the law on weapons, explosives and supporting tools was effectively carried out. Many military weapons and homemade weapons were received and seized.

The work of receiving and organizing drug addiction treatment for subjects at the provincial multifunctional drug addiction treatment facility has been well implemented, preventing students from escaping; prevention and control of prostitution and HIV/AIDS have been directed with attention and achieved many results.

He especially noted the need to increase the use of surveillance cameras in crime prevention and control and ensure security and order. They have a firm grasp of the area to promptly advise and propose to Party committees and authorities to effectively resolve complex security and order issues at the grassroots level.
