Provincial leaders listen to citizens' petitions |
On May 23, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quang Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong had a regular citizen reception in May 2024.
The citizen reception is conducted in person and connected online to the bridge points at the People's Committees of districts and towns (where citizens make recommendations and proposals at the citizen reception).
After reviewing the opinions and recommendations at the citizen reception, provincial leaders and representatives of departments, branches and localities directly responded, discussed, explained, guided and clarified the contents of complaints, recommendations and reflections of citizens.
Regarding petitions related to the land sector, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong directed departments, branches and localities to directly and thoroughly respond to citizens' petitions.
Mr. Phuong also requested that departments, branches and sectors coordinate with relevant local authorities to focus on verifying each case according to their authority, ensuring fairness, clarity and meeting people's wishes, in the spirit of compliance with the provisions of the law.
Regarding the role and responsibility of departments, branches and localities in receiving citizens, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized that, based on legal regulations, local authorities need to care for and support people in a thorough, reasonable and appropriate manner.
"Whatever can support and create conditions for the people, the departments, branches and local authorities need to study and guide to reach consensus. From there, we will end the situation of prolonged petitions and complaints, and stabilize the lives of the people," said Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong.
