2023 National Youth Taekwondo Championship: Binh Dinh Team Wins 1 More Gold Medal, 1 Bronze Medal

(BD) - On July 11, the third competition day of the 2023 National Youth Taekwondo Championship, Binh Dinh athletes won 1 more gold medal and 1 bronze medal. Specifically, athlete Huynh Thi Ai Nhi won the gold medal in the 57 kg weight category for women aged 18-20; athlete Le Nhu Hoa Cam Tuyen won the bronze medal in the 62 kg weight category for women aged 18-20.

Thus, by the end of July 11, Binh Dinh taekwondo team has won a total of 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal.

The 2023 National Youth Taekwondo Championship kicked off on July 9 at the Indoor Athletics Palace ( Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center). The tournament was attended by more than 1,000 athletes, coaches, and officials from 42 units in provinces, cities, and sectors across the country. Athletes competed in 4 age groups for men and women. The under-12 age group competed in 21 events, the 12-14 age group competed in 31 events, the 15-17 age group competed in 32 events, and the 18-20 age group competed in 30 events. In this tournament, the Binh Dinh taekwondo team had 13 athletes participating, of which 10 athletes competed in sparring and 3 athletes competed in form.
