Winning 123 Gold Medals, Vietnam Exceeds SEA Games 32 Medal Target

Welcoming the "golden rain" on the 10th official competition day of the 32nd SEA Games, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation won 123 Gold Medals at the Games, thereby exceeding the target set before departure of winning from 90-120 Gold Medals.

In this afternoon's competition alone, our female wrestlers won all 6 finals of Wrestling with the participation of Vietnamese athletes.

In addition, all the athletes of the Vietnamese Judo team who qualified to participate in the finals of the 4 weight classes this afternoon also competed excellently, thereby winning 4 more Gold Medals for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation.

Besides, good news continuously came from Taekwondo, Chinese Chess, Stick Martial Arts and Kick-boxing, when our athletes were successful in the finals to write their names on the golden board of achievements of Vietnamese Sports at the 32nd SEA Games.

With the above results, as of 7:30 p.m. on May 15, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has officially reached the milestone of 123 Gold Medals, firmly consolidating its top position in the rankings on the penultimate competition day of the Games.

Currently, the Vietnamese delegation has 123 Gold Medals, 95 Silver Medals and 95 Bronze Medals, achieving a total of 313 medals of all kinds, far surpassing the second place of the Thai delegation with a gap of up to 29 Gold Medals, while the 32nd SEA Games has only 1 official competition day left.
