Meeting on science and technology work in the third quarter of 2023

On the afternoon of October 24, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review science and education work in the third quarter and deploy tasks for the fourth quarter of 2023. Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Science and Education sector, Propaganda Departments of districts, city Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees.

Discussing at the conference, delegates highly agreed with the assessment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department: In the third quarter, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Propaganda Departments of district and city Party Committees and the branches in the science and education sector actively advised, directed, organized and implemented well and comprehensively the tasks in the fields of education - training, health, science - technology, environment, vocational training, family and children.

In particular, the Propaganda Department at all levels has presided over and coordinated with departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts and cities to advise the Standing Committees of Party Committees at all levels to issue documents directing the implementation and review and summarize directives and resolutions in the field of science and education.

The departments, branches and sectors in the bloc have actively advised the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of political tasks.

Along with that, directing the organization of propaganda on the prevention of COVID-19 epidemic, dengue fever, pink eye and dangerous infectious diseases; propaganda and dissemination of laws to employees and employers at enterprises in the province; preparation of conditions for the new school year; propaganda and orientation to create high consensus for site clearance to serve the construction of key national and provincial projects; environmental issues...

Strengthen the grasp of the ideological situation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, students and promptly report and advise the Party Committee and government to direct and have solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, maintain political stability and develop the local economy and society.

Delegates also quickly reported on outstanding results of localities and units in the third quarter, and proposed key tasks to be implemented in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, requested that in the fourth quarter, the departments in the science and education sector and the Propaganda Department continue to advise, direct, organize, implement, monitor, inspect, supervise, preliminarily summarize and evaluate the results of the implementation of directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee issued in the field of science and education. Thoroughly grasp and continue to implement the targets of the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress.

Pay attention to ideological education, ethics, and lifestyle among cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the science and education sector. Continue to promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle according to Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo on "promoting the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle".

Focus on monitoring and urging the implementation of the 2023 Working Theme of the Provincial Party Executive Committee "Maintaining discipline, enhancing responsibility, innovation, creativity, and substantial efficiency".
