Preserving and spreading traditional performing arts

Each traditional art form carries the breath of the country, the love of homeland and the aspirations of the Vietnamese people.

The Center for Preservation of Traditional Vietnamese Performing Arts, founded by the Association for Protection of Rights of Vietnamese Music Performing Artists (APPA), has just appointed People's Artist Thanh Ngoan, former Director of the Vietnam Cheo Theatre, as director.

People's Artist Thanh Ngoan said that in the coming time, the center will cooperate with social organizations and training units in the country and internationally to promote training, performance, and research activities on traditional Vietnamese art forms recognized by UNESCO. The center will strengthen training on mobile propaganda, exhibitions, clubs, and hobby groups. From there, build and implement model activities in the field of traditional culture and art; exploit, collect, restore, preserve, and promote intangible cultural values ​​in the community.
