Responding to the extensive political activities to collect people's opinions on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in Dak Lak province expressed their consensus, trust and great expectations in the country's development guidelines and goals in the new period.

According to the draft, the theme of the 14th National Party Congress is: “Under the glorious flag of the Party, join hands and unite to successfully achieve the country's development goals by 2030; be self-reliant, confident, and move forward in the era of national growth, for peace , independence, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily move towards socialism”. This is considered a strategic orientation, clearly demonstrating the vision, mettle, and development aspirations of our Party, State, and people.

Master Ngo Sau, former Vice Principal of Dak Lak Provincial Political School, Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group 8A, Tan Lap Ward (Dak Lak Province), said that the theme of the 14th National Party Congress was correctly determined, clearly demonstrating the ideology, vision, goals and political determination of the entire Party, people and army in the new era. According to him, the theme of the Congress clearly demonstrated the spirit of independence, self-reliance, self-strengthening and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country; combining national strength with the strength of the times to build socialism. In which, the strength of human resources, material resources, financial resources... is the main strength that determines the construction of the country...

The new highlight of the theme is to highlight the era of the nation's rise for the goal of "Peace, independence, nation, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steady progress towards socialism". This is a continuation of the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh 's Testament on the goal of building a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam; at the same time, it demonstrates the spirit of inheriting and developing the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, civilization" in the context of the country entering a new era of development with a new vision and development thinking, highly appealing and strongly inspiring.

Mr. Ngo Sau assessed that the outstanding mark in the Party building and rectification work in the past term was that our Party resolutely handled violations, prevented and fought corruption, "without forbidden areas", contributing to preventing and repelling degradation in ideology, ethics and lifestyle. Many cadres and Party members, including those under the Central management, were strictly disciplined, thereby strengthening the people's trust in the Party.

From the grassroots practice, he proposed that more attention should be paid to the work of cadres at the commune, village, hamlet, and residential group levels because there is still a situation of both surplus and shortage. Some cadres have limited capacity and qualifications, especially in the fields of land, finance, and information technology. He recommended that the selection of grassroots cadres should have qualifications commensurate with the job, suitable for the period entering the new era - digital technology, digital society, digital economy... to synchronize the organization and improve the effectiveness of task implementation.

Sharing the same belief and expectation, Ms. H'Đa Nê Byă, Secretary of the Buôn Đôn Party Cell, Buôn Đôn Border Commune, expressed her satisfaction with the contents on science and technology development, innovation and promoting the role of the people in the draft document. These are important driving forces for the country to make a breakthrough in the coming period. According to her, the work of Party building and rectification in recent times has been carried out resolutely and effectively, contributing to strengthening the people's trust. However, in order for this work to continue to achieve high results, it is necessary to promote the exemplary role of leaders and strictly handle violations, especially acts of corruption, waste and negativity.

Ms. H'Đa Nê Byă emphasized that the people's trust is a great strength that helps the country overcome difficulties and move forward steadily. Therefore, in the next term, it is necessary to continue to maintain discipline, promote democracy, innovation, and arouse the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country as the spirit of the 14th National Congress has set out.

From her experience living in the border area, she hopes that the Party's guidelines and policies will soon be concretized into regional development programs. She proposed prioritizing investment in education for ethnic minorities, vocational training associated with on-site employment, supporting sustainable livelihoods and improving the quality of health care and education; at the same time, focusing on preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups and paying more attention to the young generation, a force that will contribute to building and protecting a rich, civilized and sustainably developed border area.

From a grassroots perspective, Ms. H'Giang Nie, Secretary of the Ea M'dor Commune Party Committee, strongly agrees and has high expectations for the development goals set out in the draft. According to her, in order for socio-economic development orientations to be effective, it is necessary to focus synchronously on all three aspects: Institutions, people and resources. Specifically, continuing to decentralize and delegate power associated with power control and accountability; improving the quality of staff in terms of professional capacity, political mettle, public ethics and spirit of serving the people. Along with that, developing the economy according to regional characteristics, promoting the application of science and technology, developing green agriculture, community tourism, attracting businesses to invest in agriculture, agricultural processing and community tourism, creating sustainable livelihoods for people. Ms. H'Giang Nie recommended that the Central Government continue to pay attention to specific mechanisms and policies for localities, especially regarding traffic infrastructure, digital transformation, education, healthcare and rural development...

"I believe that with high political determination, close leadership of the Party, and the people's consensus, the policies and development orientations in the coming term will be effectively realized, bringing about substantial changes for the country and locality," Ms. H'Giang Nie emphasized.
