Previously, the storm's circulation caused strong winds in many coastal areas of the Central region, in which Ly Son station ( Quang Ngai ) recorded winds of level 8, gusts of level 10; Con Co station recorded winds of level 6, gusts of level 7. On November 7, the southern area of ​​the Gulf of Tonkin has northeast wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea, waves 2.5-3.5m high; the wind gradually decreases at night. The sea area from southern Da Nang to Gia Lai has southeast to east wind level 5-6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea. Other sea areas such as the northern East Sea, Lam Dong - Ca Mau, Ca Mau - An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

It is forecasted that by the evening of November 8, the Northeast wind in the Northeast of the East Sea will gradually increase to level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, with waves 3 - 5m high and rough seas.

On land, the area from Hue to Khanh Hoa has seen heavy to very heavy rain this morning. From South Quang Tri to Da Nang and the Central Highlands, there is moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 20 - 50mm, some places over 80mm. From November 7 to the end of November 8, heavy rain will spread to the area from Thanh Hoa to North Quang Tri with common rainfall of 50 - 150mm, some places over 200mm.

The Southern region also has scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain of over 70mm, along with the risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Heavy rain can cause flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas.

Currently, the flood on the Huong River (Hue City) and Tra Khuc River (Quang Ngai) is rising. In the next 6-12 hours, the water level on the Tra Khuc River may peak below the alert level 3, while the Huong River at Kim Long station will be above the alert level 2 by 0.55-0.65m. After that, the flood will gradually decrease but will still remain at a high level.

The meteorological agency warned of the risk of flooding in low-lying riverside areas, residential areas and urban areas in Hue City and Quang Ngai, and advised people to be on guard against flash floods and landslides in mountainous and steep areas.
