The province promotes attracting tourism investment, encourages investment in complexes, large-scale projects, high-quality shopping and entertainment centers; welcomes domestic and international famtrip and presstrip delegations to survey and connect. Strengthen links and cooperation in tourism development with provinces and cities; focus resources to create breakthroughs, especially in connecting transportation and training human resources, digital transformation, green transformation of tourism...

According to Ms. Phan Yen Ly - Director of Canh Cam Consulting, Media and Event Company, Ho Chi Minh City, before merging into the new An Giang province, Kien Giang tourism developed synchronously because the tourist areas were planned specifically and clearly, so it was convenient to attract investment, build unique products, and position tourism brands... Meanwhile, the old An Giang tourism, although attracting many tourists, had modest revenue. "After the merger, in order to develop synchronously and sustainably, the locality needs to soon plan the tourism development space to attract investment, especially in terms of connecting traffic infrastructure and tourism technical infrastructure. At the same time, the tourism industry needs to systematize typical tourism products, improve the quality of tourism human resources and soon build a new An Giang tourism brand to serve promotion and advertising...".

Ms. Phan Yen Ly suggested that An Giang could study and learn from Japan in planning tourism space. Especially how to create tourism products according to each time and season to serve tourists throughout the year. In addition, in tourism development, the locality pays attention to environmental protection, avoiding unnecessary concreting; at the same time, focusing on creating tourism products linked to the intra-regional chain not only in the province but also with other provinces in the region to create a unique product chain to promote regional tourism development...

Vice President of An Giang Tourism Association Mai Tuan Kiet said that in the immediate future, it is necessary to design more short-term tourism products, with check-in, gala dinner, outdoor activities... for tourists to experience. In addition, the locality can proactively invite and connect with filmmakers in the Bay Nui area to film scenes with the beautiful scenery of the mountains and forests here. This is an effective way to promote the image of the destination and tourists like to visit places that have appeared in movies.

Director of Vietravel Long Xuyen branch Ly Chan An suggested that the locality needs to have a clear tourism planning orientation, on that basis build a strategic vision, position the brand, goals, build key tourism products to serve tourists. Mr. An made a specific suggestion, it is necessary to position the tourism space of the Sam Mountain - Chau Doc national tourist area as a center of spiritual tourism - peaceful pilgrimage, vividly experiencing the culture of the Mekong River. From there, invest in attractive night products to attract overnight guests such as organizing "Chau Doc night Bazaar" to change this area from "sleeping early" to "staying up all night" in an organized way. In particular, organize the Sam Mountain night street space to sell cuisine, border specialties, standardized gift market, perform pentatonic music, Cham folk art; mapping light show telling the story of the opening of Thoai Ngoc Hau lagoon; weekend lantern parade; Dinner cruise on Chau Doc River - Hau River combined with releasing flower lanterns... In addition, it is possible to research and build Sam Mountain tourism with 4 event seasons: Via Ba in the 4th lunar month; An Giang food festival and vegetarian festival in the 7th or 8th lunar month; river festival - flower lanterns in the 11th or 12th lunar month and New Year's Eve event (countdown) combined with Tet market in the 12th lunar month to position the brand, promote and advertise to attract visitors to this place...

To attract tourists, including international tourists to the Bay Nui region, many experts and tourism businesses have proposed developing standard homestays, building vegetable and flower farms for tourists to experience; organizing cloud market tours, picking wild vegetables to make vegetarian pancakes... Many travel agencies have suggested that the locality propose to the Central Government to extend the visa exemption period for international tourists to Phu Quoc and allow these tourists to travel to the remaining areas of the province to exploit the source of international tourists more effectively...

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Nguyen Thanh Quoc, the Department, together with businesses and travel agencies, has just conducted a field survey of tourism resources in the communes and wards of the Bay Nui region. After the survey, the unit assessed tourism resources; at the same time, proposed to the provincial leaders to develop specific tourism policies for each destination, exploiting the strengths to the fullest and encouraging businesses to create many unique and attractive tourism products to welcome tourists in the coming time.
