Born into a farming family, Loan’s childhood was associated with the hard work of the harvest season and the sound of tractors in the fields. When she started her career, she had a few acres of rice fields, a small herd of pigs and rows of vegetables that were green all year round. It was during her work that she realized: “Agriculture is only truly sustainable when farmers know how to apply science, technology and new economic thinking.”
From that awareness, she continuously learned, participated in training courses, and learned about advanced farming models in many places. In 2018, after being recognized as a good farmer, she boldly established STL Agriculture Company Limited with the goal of doing green farming for the community.

Starting with 2 plows, 5 mobile irrigation equipment and 1 billion VND in loan capital, she was both the director and directly drove the machines, tended the plants and tilled the land. Up to now, the enterprise has become a typical unit in sustainable agricultural production in the locality. Each year, the company plows about 80 hectares of land, helping farmers save from 1,200 to 1,500 days of manual labor; deploys smart irrigation services for more than 30 households, transports more than 500 tons of agricultural products and 800 m³ of water for watering green trees.
In addition, the company also provides more than 5,000 seedlings and ornamental flowers each year; plants and cares for more than 2,000 trees for schools, agencies and households; and coordinates with the government to collect more than 200 tons of household waste each year, contributing to building Tay Son commune to be increasingly green, clean and beautiful.
Ms. Loan believes: "Business development must be closely linked to community benefits. Businesses not only do business but also spread the spirit of green living and green production for sustainable development of the homeland." Thanks to the spirit of perseverance, creativity and dedication, after only a few years, the company has 15 regular employees, 20 seasonal employees, with an average revenue of 1.8 - 2 billion VND/year.
Not stopping at agricultural mechanization, Ms. Loan also cherished many initiatives to protect the environment. Recently, her company implemented a project to recycle bags and baskets from old fertilizer bags. After being purchased, cleaned, and cut and sewn into products with diverse designs, durable and environmentally friendly. The project not only reduces waste, but also creates jobs for rural workers, especially ethnic minorities. Ms. Loan shared: "I want to turn things that seem to be discarded into useful products, both protecting the environment and increasing income for people."

At the same time, she also tested the commercial bamboo rat farming model, a new direction in ecological agriculture. Bamboo rat is raised with natural materials, requires little labor, has a high commercial price, and promises to open up a sustainable livelihood for farmers. The company currently provides technical support, connects to the market, and plans to replicate the model when it is effective.
Ms. Loan said that STL company will invest in more modern machinery, expand the nursery to 10,000 trees/year, apply digital transformation, build an online sales channel, and aim to export seedlings and ornamental flowers. "From a farmer, I hope STL will always receive the support of the government and people to together build a prosperous and sustainable Tay Son homeland," Ms. Loan said.
