Which bank has interest rate over 8% for term under 1 year?

On the morning of June 15, TPBank announced a reduction in deposit interest rates. The deposit interest rate decreased by 0.1 - 0.2 percentage points compared to yesterday. This is the second time this month that the bank has adjusted deposit interest rates downward.

Specifically, the 6-month, 12-month and 18-month terms are all at 7.3%/year. The 24-month term interest rate is 7.2%/year and the 36-month term is 7.1%/year.

Notably, TPBank is the only bank that announced a reduction in interest rates today.

Comparing the interest rates between banks at present, ABBank is the bank with the most attractive interest rates for depositors, for all terms from 6 months to 60 months. 6-10 month term is 8.2%/year; 11-13 month term is 8.3%/year; 15 month term is 8.4%/year; 18-60 month term is 8.5%/year.

Coming in second is GPBank, with a 6-month electronic savings interest rate of 8.1%/year. 9-month term is 8.2%/year; 12-month term is 8.3%/year; terms of 13 months or more have an interest rate of 8.4%/year.

Currently, ABBank and GPBank publicly announce interest rates of over 8% for deposits with terms of less than 12 months.

Some banks with the lowest 6-month term deposit interest rates currently include: VietinBank, Vietcombank, BIDV , Agiribank, Sacombank, Kienlongbank, MB with interest rates from 6 - 6.7%/year.

Meanwhile, there are a few more banks listing interest rates above 8%/year for a 12-month term, including: CBBank, PVCombank.

Since the beginning of June, the market has recorded 18 banks reducing deposit interest rates, including: TPBank, BaoViet Bank, GPBank, BIDV, Sacombank, VIB, HDBank, NCB, OCB, BVBank, VPBank, SCB, VietA Bank, TPBank,SHB , HDBank, KienLongBank, and Saigonbank.

Among them, TPBank, NCB, VietA Bank, HDBank, and SCB are the banks that have reduced interest rates twice since the beginning of the month.
