Carefully prepare facilities and human resources
According to data from the Departmentof Education and Training, this year's exam in Ha Nam province has 9,676 candidates registered to participate, including 7,941 candidates from high school, 1,735 candidates from continuing education and 431 independent candidates. To serve the exam, Ha Nam has established 23 testing sites in 23 high schools, with a total of 424 official testing rooms.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Nam , said: "We have planned and conducted inspections and reviews of facilities at the examination sites, promptly repaired and replaced damaged equipment, ensuring the best conditions for examination rooms and places to eat, rest and work for more than 1,800 officers and teachers participating in the examination."
In addition, the staff and teachers working in the exam invigilation have been fully trained on the exam regulations and exam organization procedures since April 23, 2024, ensuring that all technical steps comply with strict procedures. The exam locations with the most candidates and exam rooms include Phu Ly A High School (30 rooms, 685 candidates), Ly Nhan High School (29 rooms, 667 candidates), and Phu Ly B High School (28 rooms, 657 candidates).
At the inspection of exam preparations, comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ha Nam province, emphasized: "Ensuring absolute safety for the 2024 high school graduation exam is the top priority. We need to strictly implement the instructions of our superiors, not to be passive in any situation."
Comrade Le Thi Thuy requested relevant units to review the conditions of facilities serving the exam, and at the same time, to disseminate to teachers and candidates about the exam regulations and prevention of high-tech cheating. Plans to ensure exam safety, prevent fire and explosion, and medical measures have also been deployed.
Maximum support for candidates
Support plans for candidates in difficult circumstances have also been planned with the goal of ensuring that 100% of candidates can attend the exam smoothly. Localities and organizations actively participate in support, ensuring that all candidates have the best conditions when arriving at the exam site.
The organization of revision sessions for students is carefully calculated by high schools in the province. Schools have classified students according to their abilities, organized review classes, and divided review time into specific stages.
By the end of June 22, 2024, high schools in the province had completed the organization of review sessions for the high school graduation exam for 12th grade students. In addition, schools also seriously carried out tasks related to preparing conditions for candidates to take the exam, such as reviewing information, creating and assigning accounts for candidates to register for the exam online, and checking and editing candidate information.
In addition to reviewing knowledge, schools also increase the dissemination of exam regulations, organize counseling and orientation for students, and closely manage the overall review plan. Class observation activities and close inspection of professional records are also carried out, ensuring that 100% of teachers have adequate plans, outlines, and lesson plans when going to class.
In addition, medical forces are also mobilized to ensure the health of candidates and exam invigilators. All exam sites are fully equipped with facilities, medicines, and medical personnel to promptly handle health emergencies.
The 2024 high school graduation exam in Ha Nam is being prepared carefully and thoroughly. With strong direction from leaders at all levels, active participation from functional agencies, and a high sense of responsibility from the entire education system, Ha Nam province is ready for this important exam.
