Hanoi invests more than 500 billion VND to build Son Tay wastewater treatment plant

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1973/QD-UBND approving the project to invest in the construction of a wastewater collection system and treatment plant in Son Tay, Son Tay town, Hanoi.

According to the Decision, the Project's objective is to build a wastewater treatment system for the inner-city wards of Son Tay Town, covering an area of ​​about 400 hectares in 7/15 inner-city wards of Son Tay Town: Le Loi, Phu Thinh, Ngo Quyen, Quang Trung, Son Loc, Vien Son, Trung Hung, including: main sewer network system, overflow wells, surrounding sewer lines, centralized wastewater treatment plant as the basis for building a completely separate wastewater drainage system, wastewater after treatment meets the permitted standards before being discharged into the environment.

Ensure the ability to develop and expand the drainage system connection of Son Tay basin according to Hanoi drainage planning to 2030 and vision to 2050.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Technical Infrastructure and Agriculture to be the investor with a total investment of nearly 501 billion VND, to be implemented in 2024 - 2027. The project is a technical infrastructure project of Group B, level II and has a life span of not less than 50 years.

The investor is responsible before the law for the accuracy of volume, budget; structural calculation results and legality of the documents submitted for approval; capacity of organizations and individuals conducting surveys and project preparation.

At the same time, responsible for researching and reviewing the regional technical infrastructure system, updating the technical infrastructure connection plan to ensure savings, efficiency, economic and technical optimization, and ensuring the ability to operate synchronously between technical infrastructure inside and outside the project.

Son Tay Town People's Committee organizes the implementation of site clearance for the Project on Investment in the construction of the Son Tay wastewater collection system and treatment plant, Son Tay Town according to regulations to ensure site conditions for the Investor to implement the Project according to the approved schedule.
