Coffee price forecast for tomorrow, June 4, 2025 - the market continues to decline.

On June 3, the domestic coffee market continued to decline compared to yesterday's flat trading session; meanwhile, the world market fluctuated between increases and decreases on the London and New York exchanges.

Experts say that the continuous decline in coffee prices from last week to early this week partly reflects the pressure from abundant supply in the market. In the first half of 2025, coffee prices fluctuated strongly due to the combined effects of increased production and global economic fluctuations.

Last week, the international coffee market recorded a sharp decline. Robusta prices fell by $280 per ton, while Arabica also lost nearly 18.8 cents per pound. This was the lowest price for Arabica in many weeks and the lowest for Robusta in more than 6 months. The main reason for the price decline was high inventories and abundant supplies.

Businesses say that Vietnamese coffee prices are currently higher than those of competing exporting countries, causing trading activities to slow down. In addition, transportation costs are also increasing, especially when the market is concerned that the end of the US tariff suspension is approaching, affecting trade and export costs.

According to experts, in the short term, if there is no major change in supply, coffee prices may continue to be under downward pressure.
