This is a meaningful activity, aiming to review the heroic journey of the nation and pay tribute to those who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The program is part of the Journey to Unify the Country, towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

At the program, through the stories of historical witnesses, veterans and students of the University of Electricity reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army; the glorious feats of arms of our army and people in the resistance war against the US to save the country, the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

Students also understood more clearly the heroic sacrifices of the martyrs; shining examples of comradeship and teamwork in the fire of war...

Journalist Phung Huy Thinh, an artillery scout of Division 325, tells the story of the battle to protect the ancient citadel of Quang Tri . He and his comrades not only fought in harsh and difficult conditions but also remained steadfast and courageous, not retreating while the enemy fired artillery shells into the ancient citadel. His story is a living testament to the courage and resilience of Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers.

Another historical witness is musician Truong Quy Hai, a soldier of Division 356 at the Vi Xuyen front, Ha Giang from 1979 to 1989, sharing about the camaraderie and comradeship in combat. The stories, songs and lyrics that the veteran musician brought to the exchange program were extremely touching.

Representative of the typical student of the University of Electricity, Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang expressed her admiration and respect for the veterans, the previous generation who sacrificed to gain independence and freedom for the nation; at the same time, she was aware of her role and responsibility, and developed herself comprehensively to be ready for international integration...

Through the exchange program, young people understand more about history and are proud of the revolutionary tradition. Today's young generation determines for themselves specific actions in studying, training, and continuing to write glorious pages with the aspiration to devote themselves to the cause of building and developing the capital and the country in the new era - the era of national growth.
