Hanoi is not only the political and economic center but also the cultural cradle of Vietnam. Constructions such as Khue Van Cac, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, One Pillar Pagoda or relics in the Hoan Kiem Lake area are vivid evidence of the city's rich history. In addition, folk art forms such as ca tru, hat xam, water puppetry are still preserved and developed. Hanoi's traditional cuisine and festivals always attract international tourists.
In particular, Hanoi is highly appreciated for its friendliness and reasonable cost for cultural activities. 82% of locals believe that cultural experiences here are affordable with many free or low-cost activities. This makes it easy for both locals and tourists to access and immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural life of the city.
