Hanoi will start construction of Ring Road 4 project

On June 13, speaking at a meeting with press representatives on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung informed the press about the time to start the construction of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region investment project.

Accordingly, this key project will be started on Sunday, June 25, at 4 locations in Hanoi .

According to Hanoi Party Secretary Dinh Tien Dung - Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project - Capital Region, Hanoi has properly implemented the National Assembly 's Resolution and committed to the progress of site clearance for 58.6km of the route in the area.

“Up to now, the procedures related to the project have basically been completed. With the current progress, by June 2023, the city can complete about 80% of the project's site clearance area,” said Mr. Dinh Tien Dung.

The Ring Road 4 - Capital Region construction project is a national key project, with a total length of about 112.8km. The project passes through 7 districts of Hanoi, 4 districts of Bac Ninh province, and 4 districts of Hung Yen province.

The project is invested in the form of using public investment capital combined with investment under the public-private partnership (PPP) method with a total investment of VND 85,813 billion. The project consists of 7 component projects, including 3 land clearance projects under the form of public investment, 3 parallel road construction investment projects under the form of public investment and 1 expressway construction investment project under the form of public-private partnership .
