Hanoi organizes activities to celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday May 19

Specifically, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace will organize an exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh: National quintessence, contemporary stature", introducing 135 photos of President Ho Chi Minh from 1954 to 1969 and the book "135 stories about Uncle Ho". The exhibition will open on the morning of May 16. Coming to the exhibition, visitors will be able to visit the relic site, see documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh to gain more understanding and deep feelings about his life and career.

The Ho Chi Minh Museum - where the legacies of President Ho Chi Minh are preserved - also has practical activities. In addition to the permanent exhibition spaces about his life, career and the stages of his search for a way to save the country, leading the Vietnamese people in the two resistance wars against France and the US, the Museum also organizes a special exhibition "Noble and simple examples", scheduled to open on May 18.

Some relics in Hanoi managed by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports such as: 48 Hang Ngang relic (where Uncle Ho wrote the Declaration of Independence) and the national relic "President Ho Chi Minh's house where he lived and worked in December 1946" (where Uncle Ho wrote the Call for National Resistance) are being restored and renovated.

The Hanoi Monuments and Landscapes Management Board said that the above relic sites are being adjusted, supplemented with artifacts and documents to serve visitors. Of which, the 48 Hang Ngang relic site still welcomes pre-registered groups, while the national relic site "President Ho Chi Minh's House where he lived and worked in December 1946" still welcomes people and tourists every day.

Many new documents and artifacts have been added, helping visitors understand more about President Ho Chi Minh's activities.

At Hoa Lo Prison relic, activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh were promoted through propaganda. Historical stories, the guiding and guiding role of President Ho Chi Minh on the path to national liberation were widely shared on the fanpage, attracting a large number of young people. In addition, the relic still maintains the exhibition "Peace Song" with many documents and artifacts from the period of resistance against the US, liberating the South, and unifying the country.

According to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), from May 17 to 18, art units under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will organize many special art performances in the centers of several districts in the city.

On the evening of May 17, Hanoi Cheo Theater will perform an art program in Tien Hoi village, Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district.

On the evening of May 18, Thang Long Puppetry Theatre will perform at Lenin Park (Dien Bien Phu, Ba Dinh). Hanoi Opera House will perform at the center of Ung Hoa district. Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theatre will perform at the center of Thuong Tin district. Hanoi Drama Theatre will perform at the center of Soc Son district. Thang Long Music and Dance Theatre will perform at Long Bien district.
