Hanoi presents 118,035 gifts to meritorious people on National Day

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 212/KH-UBND on giving gifts to beneficiaries of the policy for people with workers on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Accordingly, on this occasion, the city will give away 118,035 gifts, with a total cost of more than 187 billion VND.

Specifically, for individuals, there are 3 levels. The gift level (in cash) is 5 million VND/person for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; people who participated in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945; people who participated in revolutionary activities from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 General Uprising.

Gift level (in cash) 2 million VND/person for People's Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes during the resistance war period; war invalids, type B war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids with physical injuries of 21% or more; sick soldiers with physical injuries of 41% or more; people who have contributed to the revolution and are awarded the "Fatherland's gratitude" medal or "Contribution to the country" Certificate; family members are awarded the "Fatherland's gratitude" medal or "Contribution to the country" Certificate;...

Gift level (in cash) 1 million VND/person for the representative of martyr worship (1 martyr/1 gift).

For outstanding units and individuals: The City presented gifts to 19 outstanding units, each gift worth 16 million VND/unit, including: revolutionary establishments awarded the title "Certificate of meritorious service to the country" or "Medal of meritorious service to the revolution in the resistance war" by the State in a number of communes, wards and centers for nurturing and nursing people with meritorious services in Hanoi city; Representative Board of revolutionary soldiers captured and imprisoned by the enemy in the city; Association of Agent Orange Victims in the city; Hanoi Funeral Service Board, management boards of martyrs' cemeteries in the city; Center for Care, Nurturing and Treatment of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Hanoi city; presented 252 gifts to outstanding individuals.
