Hanoi implements the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue

The plan aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing policies and laws on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue; the role and responsibility in the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels, agencies, units and local authorities in implementing this work; raise awareness, consciousness and responsibility of heads of establishments, household owners and individuals in complying with legal regulations on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue.

Accordingly, along with reviewing detailed documents implementing the Law; promoting propaganda and training activities, etc., the City People's Committee requests departments, branches, agencies, units, and localities to specifically define the work content, deadline, and progress in implementing the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting, and Rescue, ensuring timeliness, synchronization, unity, effectiveness, and efficiency. Determine the responsibilities and coordination mechanisms between specialized departments, offices, and People's Committees at all levels in implementing Law No. 55/2024/QH15 and legal documents detailing the implementation of the Law in the city. Along with that, ensure close coordination between relevant agencies and units with the Hanoi City Police.

Regarding the content of the work, it is necessary to attach the responsibilities and roles of the assigned agencies and organizations to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations. Determine a specific roadmap to ensure that from July 1, 2025, Law No. 55/2024/QH15 and legal documents detailing the implementation of the Law are implemented uniformly and synchronously in the city. At the same time, regularly inspect, urge, guide, and promptly resolve difficulties and problems in the implementation process.

The City People's Committee also assigned heads of departments, branches, and sectors; chairmen of district and commune People's Committees to be responsible for deployment and implementation. Based on the assigned content, tasks, and practical situation, units will develop detailed plans for deployment and implementation within the scope of management of the unit and locality.

The City Police Department is assigned as the standing agency to coordinate with the City People's Committee Office and the Department of Construction to monitor and urge the implementation of this plan.
