Ha Thi Hau won the 105km trail race in China

(NLDO) - "Trail running queen" Ha Thi Hau excellently won the 105km championship at Tsaigu Trail 2025 held in China.

Ten days ago, Ha Thi Hau finished second in the women's 60 km race at the Ultra Trail in Ninghai. On the afternoon of November 1, the girl from Lao Cai province excellently won the 105 km race at the Tsaigu Trail in the western province of Zhejiang.

Between the two arduous but prestigious trail running events, Ha Thi Hau stayed in China, actively running and training every day on the mountainous roads of Linhai, feeling as if she was running in the mountains of her hometown. Starting at 5:30 am (Vietnam time), Ha Thi Hau competed fiercely with the two strongest opponents, including the famous French runner Aurore Dacier. The small Vietnamese girl started quite well, always in the lead for the first 40 km.

When overtaken by Aurore Dacier at the 48th kilometer, Ha Thi Hau competed with great effort and "reclaimed" the lead in the last kilometer before rushing to the finish line with a time of 13 hours 27 minutes 41 seconds amid admiration and resounding applause from international runners as well as spectators.

Not only did she affirm her title as Vietnam's "Queen of Trail Running" and Asia's top female trail runner, she also received a "huge" reward of about 7,000 USD (some sources said it was up to 13,000 euros, or more than 390 million VND).
