(Baohatinh.vn) - At the 8th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Health Sector, Ha Tinh was honored to have a collective and an individual receive a certificate of merit from the Minister of Health.

On the morning of October 26, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health organized the 8th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the health sector for the period 2020 - 2025 with the theme "Solidarity - Creativity - Confidence in entering the era of advancement". The Congress is an opportunity to honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals with many outstanding contributions to the patriotic emulation movements of the health sector nationwide.

Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan awarded a certificate of merit to a representative of Son Kim 1 Commune Health Station.

Among 17 outstanding collectives and individuals nationwide awarded certificates of merit by the Minister of Health, Ha Tinh health sector was honored to have 1 collective, Son Kim 1 Commune Health Station, and 1 individual, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - Deputy Head of Medical Affairs Department (Ha Tinh Department of Health).

This is a worthy recognition for the continuous efforts of collectives, individuals as well as the team of cadres, civil servants and workers of the entire provincial health sector in caring for, protecting and improving people's health, especially in the difficult and challenging period after the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters, storms and floods.

The award of a certificate of merit by the Minister of Health at the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the whole sector is a great source of encouragement for collectives, individuals as well as the entire Ha Tinh Health sector to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and pioneering in innovation, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of caring for, protecting and improving people's health in the new period.

Being located in a remote area, Son Kim 1 Commune Health Station is a trusted address for many people inside and outside the commune to visit and receive treatment. Most people with common diseases come to the station for examination and treatment first, not rushing to go straight to the higher level. Doctors and nurses are also flexible in implementing measures such as sending staff to their homes or consulting by phone for patients with chronic diseases: high blood pressure, diabetes, tuberculosis, mental illness... to check their health, instruct people to take medicine, and take care of their health at home periodically.
