Signing of cooperation agreement to launch the construction of "Civilized Urban Area" in Phu Quoc special economic zone

On October 26, at Phu Quoc special economic zone, An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with An Giang Provincial Youth Union to organize a signing ceremony to launch activities to build a "Civilized Urban Area" in Phu Quoc special economic zone.

Attending the ceremony were Colonel Le Phu Thanh, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Youth Union Phan Duy Bang.

Colonel Le Phu Thanh and comrade Phan Duy Bang signed a coordination plan.

According to the signed program, the two units will coordinate to implement key contents such as disseminating laws and preventing and combating crimes; building "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" routes; training skills in handling situations, supporting tourists ; launching environmental sanitation campaigns, urban beautification; building cultural behavior in the community and among young people.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, the Youth Union members and youth of the Police and Phu Quoc Special Zone marched to propagate drug prevention and control, ensure order and traffic safety and protect the environment, affirming the determination of the youth in joining hands to build Phu Quoc Special Zone into a model urban area, worth living and a reliable destination for domestic and international tourists, towards APEC 2027.
