Ha Tinh speeds up the implementation of rural clean water supply projects

These days, at the construction site of the project to repair and upgrade the Bac Cam Xuyen water supply network system for Cam Vinh commune ( Ha Tinh city), the construction atmosphere is taking place very urgently. The contractor has arranged 3 groups of workers, dividing shifts to continuously increase the number of shifts to focus on implementing the construction of the D2000 distribution network running through the commune.

Mr. Nguyen Tri Dao - Construction site commander said: "This project is invested by the Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation with a total investment of 11 billion VND. Up to now, the items have been completed at an estimated 30% of the volume. Due to the pressure on progress, the unit is mobilizing maximum human resources, equipment and materials to soon complete the replacement of the entire water supply system of the project, ensuring stable water supply for the people, especially during the upcoming peak heat wave period."

In addition to the above project, currently, the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation of Ha Tinh province is organizing the selection of contractors, striving to start construction in June 2025 for the project to upgrade and expand the Thien Loc water supply project to supply Vuong Loc commune (Can Loc district) phase 3 and the project to repair and expand the water supply project of Thach Bang commune (now in Loc Ha town) to supply water to Binh An and Tan Loc communes (Thach Ha district).

Construction progress is being accelerated.

Site clearance work is focused on creating favorable conditions for project construction units.

Currently, Huong Khe district is implementing 3 large-scale water supply projects in the area, including domestic water supply system projects: Da Han phase 1, Huong Lam commune and Huong Lien commune. With strong direction, the locality has basically completed the site clearance work and handed over to construction units to carry out the items.

Ha Tinh always determines that the rate of people using clean water with guaranteed quality from centralized water supply works plays an important role in the process of building new rural areas.

Currently, in the whole province, there are 10 clean water supply projects under construction with a total investment of more than 515 billion VND. In addition, 3 projects are selecting construction contractors; 2 projects are implementing construction drawing design and cost estimates with a total investment of more than 152 billion VND. In the past time, Ha Tinh has always determined that the rate of people using clean water with guaranteed quality from centralized water supply works plays an important role in the process of building new rural areas. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee regularly has drastic instructions to accelerate the implementation of rural clean water projects.

Recently, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 2821 requesting relevant departments, branches, agencies, localities and units to inspect and review current difficulties and obstacles in the allocation of counterpart funds from localities for clean water supply projects in the province. At the same time, he requested localities to promptly complete site clearance work; closely coordinate with investors and contractors to speed up construction progress, ensuring compliance with the approved plan.
