Because the US Women's Open is a major tournament (equivalent to the Grand Slam tournaments in tennis), the strongest golfers in the world of women's golf today are all present.

The tournament also features Vietnamese-American golfer Lilia Vu, reigning Olympic champion Lydia Ko (New Zealand), and Japanese-Filipino female golfer and reigning champion Yuka Saso.

The 2025 US Women's Open will take place from tonight (May 29) until the early morning of June 2 (Vietnam time), at the Erin Hills Golf Course complex, in Erin (Wisconsin, USA).
The total prize value for this year's tournament is 12 million USD (more than 312 billion VND). This is a very large number for a women's golf tournament.
