From early morning, the school yard was filled with life as the red and yellow stars covered every corner of the school.
Nearly 3,700 students, cadres, teachers and staff of Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai Primary, Secondary and High School wore shirts with the national flag, unitedly looking forward to the great national festival.
Rows of flags fill the hallways, classrooms, and principal’s office. Each flag is like a small flame, contributing to lighting up the school space with a proud and sacred atmosphere. The school seems to be wearing the national colors, as beautiful as the youthful dreams growing in the hearts of the Vietnamese people.
When the first notes of the National Anthem rang out, the whole schoolyard seemed to be silent for a moment of emotion, then burst into loud, powerful singing.
One of the most sacred and emotional moments was when thousands of Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai students lined up to form the map of Vietnam - a soft curved strip of land from Lung Cu to Ca Mau cape, along with the two archipelagos Hoang Sa - Truong Sa, full of love and connection.
The schoolyard is bright red like a big heart beating in the common rhythm of millions of Vietnamese people - passionate, persistent and proud patriotism.
The flag-raising ceremony ended with the bustling melody of the song "Oh Vietnam", in the sparkling eyes of the will of the teachers and students of Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai School.
Not only is this a gratitude ceremony, it is also a sacred reminder that: every day of studying and training today is our way of continuing the glorious tradition, worthy of the great sacrifices of previous generations.
According to the representative of Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai Primary, Secondary and High School, April 30, 1975 has been engraved in the history of the nation as a brilliant milestone, opening a new era - the era of independence, unity and development. April is not only to remember, but also for every Vietnamese heart to light the flame of patriotism, nurture gratitude and responsibility for the homeland.
"Today's flag-raising ceremony to celebrate April 30th at the school is a vivid history lesson, reminding the generation of students of Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai: you are growing up in peace , but to have that, many generations of fathers and grandfathers have exchanged their blood and bones for the ideal of "Independence - Freedom - Happiness".
"Let's live a more worthy life - with gratitude, with every small effort every day, with the belief that: Every beautiful action, every step forward of yours today, is continuing to write the golden pages of history of the Vietnamese people," the school representative shared.
