On the evening of December 29, at Saigon Riverside Park (Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), Thu Duc City People's Committee coordinated to organize the official opening ceremony of the New Year Festival City Tet Fest-Thu Duc 202

In his opening speech, Mr. Hoang Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Thu Duc City People's Committee emphasized: National culture is always one of the values ​​that Thu Duc people always cherish. This is the driving force for Thu Duc City to create a unique and meaningful event, bringing memorable experiences to people and visitors on the occasion of welcoming the New Year 2025.

The event was held on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the establishment of Thu Duc city (January 1, 2021 - January 1, 2025) and opened a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

City Tet Fest-Thu Duc 2025 is a colorful, multi-experience festival held for the first time at Saigon Riverside Park - Ho Chi Minh City with a combination of culture, community, technology, art, creativity and sustainability.

At the opening night with the theme “Loud Xao Music Night”, the performances of artists Truc Nhan, Karik, Mono, (S) TRONG Trong Hieu, Kay Tran, DJ Louis 8ightz showed a generous, creative, bustling and dynamic Southern Tet spirit.

City Tet Fesst - Thu Duc 2025 contributes to implementing the city's strategy for developing cultural industries until 2030, and is also an opportunity to bring traditional culture into the flow of modernity, preserve and spread the values ​​of Vietnamese cultural heritage to the world, contributing to turning heritage into assets to build the Vietnamese national brand.

City Tet Fest is designed in the same scale and form as major festivals in the world, promising to become a new destination for city residents, attracting domestic and foreign tourists , contributing to building the brand of Ho Chi Minh City during the festival season.

According to Ms. Tran Tue Tri, representative of the Organizing Committee, this is the first multi-color, multi-experience New Year Festival held in Ho Chi Minh City with the combination of Culture, Community, Technology and Sustainability; not only bringing modern colors to the traditional New Year but also clearly depicting the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City, which is diverse, generous, youthful, civilized and affectionate.
