On the morning of May 8, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Hanoi People Magazine held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary and receive the Second Class Labor Medal.

The magazine Nguoi Ha Noi, formerly known as the publication "Creating Hanoi" of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association (now the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association), was published in 1967. On May 8, 1985, the newspaper was officially named Nguoi Ha Noi, becoming the mouthpiece of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association.

After that, the Magazine continued to be led by prestigious artists and journalists such as: Bang Viet, Phan Thi Thanh Nhan, Vu Quan Phuong, Nguyen Anh Bien, Ho Xuan Son, Be Kien Quoc, Vu Xuan Hoat, Dao Xuan Hung, Vuong Minh Hue.

The magazine also has the collaboration of many famous artists such as: Poet Te Hanh, Poet Hoang Cam, Poet Vu Cao, Poet Nguyen Dinh Thi, Musician Van Cao, Artist Bui Xuan Phai, Artist Nguyen Sang, Artist Mai Van Hien, Professor Tran Quoc Vuong...

According to People's Artist Tran Quoc Chiem, Chairman of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association, from an initial collection of works, Hanoians has been affirming its position as a gathering place and forum for promoting and bringing literary and artistic works into the lives of many generations of artists in the capital.

“With its political mission, Hanoi People Magazine is always a bridge to convey information about the city's key activities and socio-cultural issues to readers, from a literary and artistic perspective and style, both poetic and gentle, touching people's hearts,” commented People's Artist Tran Quoc Chiem.

Joining the general flow of the national press in the digital age, the Magazine is not only a place to preserve traditional values ​​but also a dynamic, innovative and creative entity, promptly grasping and using technology to digitize valuable articles, images and documents, helping to spread cultural values ​​through digital platforms such as websites, social networks and electronic newspapers. Creating conditions for readers to access Hanoi culture in a modern and flexible way.

Hanoi People Magazine was honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister , Hanoi People's Committee, Hanoi Literature and Arts Association, Hanoi Journalists Association... In particular, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its establishment, the Magazine was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal from the State.

At the Anniversary and Medal Receiving Ceremony, journalist Vuong Minh Hue, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi People Magazine, said that the 40-year journey is a solid foundation for Hanoi People Magazine to confidently enter a new stage of development.

“Continuing the achievements that generations of literary and artistic journalists in the capital have worked hard to cultivate, the collective of cadres, reporters and editors of the Magazine today will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and constant creativity so that Hanoians can develop more and more, worthy of being the voice of the capital's artists, a bridge to spread humanistic values ​​to the public, actively contributing to the development of the capital's culture,” affirmed Editor-in-Chief Vuong Minh Hue./.
