According to Yonhap , the boiler tower collapse occurred at a thermal power plant in Ulsan city, southeastern South Korea, at around 2:00 p.m. on November 6.
Initially, nine workers were reported trapped in the rubble of the collapsed boiler tower. Two of them were quickly rescued and are in a non-life-threatening condition. Later, two other workers, one of whom was still conscious, were discovered and brought out by firefighters.

Search and rescue operations are underway to rescue five workers who are still "missing".
"We are working to rescue those trapped and are considering lifting or dismantling the collapsed structure to quickly locate the remaining people," a fire official said on November 6.

The collapsed boiler tower is said to be 60 meters high and is in the process of being dismantled using explosives. Those trapped are believed to be employees of a subcontractor.
President Lee Jae Myung has ordered the mobilization of all equipment and personnel to rescue those trapped and deal with the aftermath of the accident, spokesman Kim Nam Jun said.
Prime Minister Kim Min Seok also gave similar instructions to the Interior Ministry , fire department and police.
Authorities said they will conduct a thorough investigation to determine if there were any violations of safety laws.
