Coach Amorim conducted nearly 500 interviews after half a year leading Man United

Recently, the Daily Mail (UK) revealed that Coach Amorim had to conduct nearly 500 interviews since coming to Man United. This number shows the pressure of being the coach of the "Red Devils".

It is worth noting that the Portuguese strategist did not proactively contact the media to conduct interviews. He simply fulfilled his contractual media obligations.

Since replacing coach Ten Hag in November 2024, Mr. Amorim has gone through an extremely difficult period at Man United. Specifically, he and Man United have only won 6 out of 25 matches in the Premier League.

The deal the league sells to broadcasters allows them to interview each manager for 15 minutes before each game, and Amorim gets more airtime simply because he is the manager of the most popular club in England.

It is known that the Man United coach is required to conduct 7 interviews with TV stations after each Premier League match.
