Support building charity houses for disadvantaged households in Tien Hai district

On the morning of May 27, the Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross visited and presented funds to support the construction of charity houses for disadvantaged families in Tien Hai district.

Representatives of the Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross Society presented 60 million VND to support the construction of a charity house for Mr. Vu Quoc Hieu, in Dong Hao village, Nam Ha commune (Tien Hai).

Mr. Vu Quoc Hieu has been a family with extremely difficult circumstances in Nam Ha commune for many years. Both he and his wife are old, have many illnesses, and are raising 4 grandchildren who are still in school, one of whom is autistic.

Also from a family with extremely difficult circumstances, Mr. Pham Van Tra, in Phuong Trach Tay village, Phuong Cong commune, does not have a stable job due to poor health. His wife passed away from lung cancer in 2023. He is currently raising 2 children alone, the older one is in 11th grade, the younger one is in 6th grade.

The charity house of Mr. Pham Van Huy's family, in Phuong Trach Dong village, Phuong Cong commune (Tien Hai) is expected to be completed in August 2025.

In Phuong Cong commune, there is also the case of Mr. Pham Van Huy, in Phuong Trach Dong village, a poor household. He and his wife are both seasonal workers with low income, have to take care of their elderly parents and raise 2 young children.

Sharing the difficulties of the families of Mr. Vu Quoc Hieu, Mr. Pham Van Tra and Mr. Pham Van Huy, the Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross Society has allocated 60 million VND from the Humanitarian Fund to support each family to start building a new house. Each house has an area of ​​about 50m², expected to be completed before September 2025.
