Groundbreaking ceremony of “Support to go to school” house for poor students in Tien Hai district

Continuing the series of activities to support poor students and responding to the peak emulation campaign "300 days of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" across the province, on the morning of May 27, Thai Binh Newspaper, Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross Society, and the Department of Education and Training organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build a "Support to go to school" house for Huynh Minh Nam, in Cam Lai village, Dong Co commune (Tien Hai).

Huynh Minh Nam's family in Cam Lai village, Dong Co commune (Tien Hai) received 100 million VND in support to build a house from the "Support to School" fund.

Huynh Minh Nam’s family is a poor household in Dong Co commune. His mother has to undergo dialysis 3 times a week, his father is in poor health and has no stable job. The house where his family lives is seriously degraded.

The house supported by the "Support to School" fund of Huynh Minh Nam's family is expected to be completed after 3 months of construction.

Wishing to help Huynh Minh Nam’s family have a safe place to live before the storm season, Thai Binh Newspaper, Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross and the Departmentof Education and Training have allocated 100 million VND from the “Supporting to School” fund co-managed by the three units to support the family in starting the construction of a new house. This is the 17th house in 2025 to be supported by the “Supporting to School” fund.
