Contractor to open the foundation for the Ta Chu-Ban Duoc road project connecting with Mong An commune

Hoa Binh is a particularly disadvantaged commune in Binh Gia district, with many limitations in rural transport infrastructure. According to statistics from the commune People's Committee, by early 2025, the commune had concreted 4/17.5 km of commune roads; and 3.5/7.9 km of village roads and alleys.

Ms. Vi Thi Phung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh Commune, said: In 2025, the commune will receive investment from the district to harden 3 commune-level roads, including: Ta Chu - Ban Duoc road connecting with Mong An commune, 5 km long; Khuoi Nhuan - May Day road, 1.1 km long; Khuoi Khinh - Ta Vang road, 1.5 km long, with the goal of increasing the hardening rate of the commune's commune-level roads to 11.6/17.5 km, equivalent to 66.2% by the end of 2025. To ensure the progress of the projects, the People's Committee of the commune has directed the villages to step up propaganda and mobilize people to donate land to create a clean site for construction.

Mr. Chu Van Tien, residing in Ban Duoc village, Hoa Binh commune, shared: The Ta Chu-Ban Duoc road connecting with Mong An commune is a dirt road, narrow and very difficult to travel. In 2025, the district invested in expanding and hardening the road, and the villagers were very excited. Therefore, when the commune and village informed about the project and mobilized people to donate land, all households with land adjacent to the road supported the handover of the land, my family also donated 400 m2 including rice fields and garden land to expand the road.

It is known that Ban Duoc village has 75 households, of which 23 households were affected. In February 2024, 100% of the affected households handed over the land for road construction.

Not only the Ta Chu-Ban Duoc road connecting Mong An commune, at the Khuoi Nhuan-May Day road project with a length of 1.1 km, 6 households were affected, all 6 households voluntarily donated 0.55 ha for the state to construct the project.

Thanks to the consensus of the people, in the first quarter of 2024, 46 households affected by 2/3 of the project voluntarily handed over the site with an area of ​​about 3.25 hectares for contractors to dig and expand the roadbed according to the design.

Thanks to that, by the end of March 2025, the progress of all projects met the construction progress requirements. In particular, the Ta Chu - Ban Duoc road connecting to Mong An commune has completed 85% of the construction work, the contractor is expected to complete the construction work before April 20, and gather materials to construct the road surface from the end of April 2025. At the Khuoi Nhuan - May Day road and the Khuoi Khinh - Ta Vang road, the contractors have completed the roadbed and are preparing to construct the concrete road surface from the end of April and the beginning of May 2025.

Mr. Be Van Ly, Director of the Binh Gia District Construction Investment Project Management Board, said: In 2025, the board will deploy 11 rural traffic projects in the communes, including 3 traffic projects in Hoa Binh commune. Up to now, the projects have been implemented smoothly and met the set progress requirements thanks to the support of local people in donating land to create a flat surface. Currently, the board is urging contractors to take advantage of favorable weather conditions, focus on mobilizing machinery, gathering enough materials to speed up the progress, striving to complete the projects as soon as possible to promote the effectiveness of investment capital, helping people to travel conveniently.

With the support of the people in donating land for road construction, we believe that the investor and contractors will implement the project with the highest sense of responsibility to speed up the progress of the projects.
