Miss Thuy Tien 'reports' on the lawsuit over a loan contract dispute in court

It is known that at the Trial Council of the property loan contract dispute between the plaintiff, Ms. Dang Thuy Trang (36 years old, residing in Can Tho) and the defendant, Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Thuy Tien), both the plaintiff and the defendant were absent and had authorized representatives attending.

At the trial on the afternoon of May 8, both Ms. Dang Thuy Trang's representative and Miss Thuy Tien's representative disagreed with the decision of the People's Court of Go Vap District to merge the case of the loan contract dispute between the plaintiff Ms. Trang and the defendant Miss Thuy Tien (accepted first) into the dispute over compensation for non-contractual damages between the plaintiff Miss Thuy Tien and the defendant Ms. Trang (accepted later).

Therefore, the Trial Panel - Chaired by Ms. Le Minh Loan, Judge of the People's Court of Go Vap District, decided to temporarily suspend the trial to carry out some procedures. The time to reopen the trial will be announced later.

After the trial, Thuy Tien's legal representative issued a press release, outlining the direction of the lawsuit. Accordingly, Thuy Tien's side shared the entire course of events during the trial that took place on the afternoon of May 8.

Presenting her opinion on the court's decision to merge case files, Miss Thuy Tien's representative requested the Trial Council to separate the two cases for independent trial so that the matter can be handled quickly and not be prolonged any longer.

The trial panel said that Ms. Trang declared her registered residence in Can Tho, but when verified in Can Tho, she did not have actual residence.

Regarding this, Ms. Trang's representative replied "I don't know". Meanwhile, Miss Thuy Tien's representative said that they verified that Ms. Trang actually resides in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province.

Commenting on the decision to merge case files, the representative of the People's Procuracy of Go Vap District said that the merger of cases was well-founded.

At the trial, the plaintiff's representative could not provide the plaintiff's exact place of residence, while the defendant did. Therefore, the representative of the Procuracy requested to suspend the trial to collect more evidence.

After hearing the opinions of the parties, the panel of judges requested both parties to submit written opinions on the decision to merge the cases for consideration.

The court also wanted to confirm Ms. Dang Thuy Trang's address, but even Ms. Trang's representative lawyer could not determine her residential address, so the trial had to be postponed to further investigate Ms. Trang's residential information.

Besides, Thuy Tien always maintains the spirit of living and working in accordance with the law, hoping that the other party will cooperate to bring the matter to an end. From the beginning, Thuy Tien always cooperated with the authorities to investigate quickly, but Dang Thuy Trang's side did not provide information about her address, slowing down the investigation process."
