Hoa Thanh: Giving breeding cows and means of livelihood to households in difficult circumstances

Recently, the Red Cross Society of Hoa Thanh town coordinated with local authorities of communes and wards to organize the giving of breeding cows and livelihood capital to households in difficult circumstances in the area.

Representatives of the Hoa Thanh Town Red Cross Association and Truong Dong Commune gave breeding cows to Mr. Vuong Ba Lanh's family.

Accordingly, the Hoa Thanh Town Red Cross Association and local authorities presented two breeding cows to the households of Mr. Vuong Ba Lanh, residing in Truong Dong Commune, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan, residing in Truong Tay Commune. The total value of the two breeding cows presented was 25.5 million VND, taken from the Town's "Cow Bank" program.

In addition, capital and means of livelihood were provided to 7 households in difficult circumstances in Long Thanh Nam and Truong Hoa communes and Long Thanh Trung and Long Thanh Bac wards.

The means awarded include: electric welding tool kit; rice flour milling tool kit; support for livestock and capital for small businesses... The total value of capital support and means of livelihood awarded is 28 million VND.

This is a source of encouragement, helping households in difficult circumstances have conditions to raise livestock, do business, trade, increase income, and escape poverty sustainably.
