On the evening of October 12th, the live show "Dấu ấn - Cung tơ hòa điệu" by the three adopted daughters of the late singer Phi Nhung, namely Quỳnh Trang, Tuyết Nhung, and Thiêng Ngân, took place at the Ben Thanh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City.

The live show "Dấu ấn - Cung tơ hòa điệu" lasted nearly 4 hours and consisted of two main parts: "Memories" and "Dấu ấn" .

The concert evoked many emotions as the organizers included songs closely associated with the late singer Phi Nhung in the program.

The concert featured artists such as Hoài Linh, Trung Dân, Thoại Mỹ, Quỳnh Trang, Tuyết Nhung, Thiêng Ngân, Duy Zuno, Phú Quý, Jack Long, and others…

The most anticipated performance by the audience was the collaboration between Phi Nhung's three adopted daughters and artists Hoai Linh and Trung Dan in the comedy skit " Cleaning the House" .

The author of this comedic skit is artist Trung Dân. He incorporated stories about the clogs Phi Nhung often wore when playing country girls, as well as the late singer's habit of wearing the traditional ao dai dress when performing…

The house cleaning also conveyed the message, "Phi Nhung was saddest when she was misunderstood by others."

What's interesting about this comedy skit is that Hoài Linh plays the role of the wife of Thằng Đậu. During her lifetime, singer Phi Nhung played this role, successfully collaborating with artists Hoài Linh and Trung Dân.

Hoài Linh's charm brings much laughter to the audience, but it also evokes emotional memories of the late singer Phi Nhung.

Artist Hoài Linh said, with a choked voice, that the reason he was present at the live show was because of his close relationship with his younger sister Phi Nhung.

He added: "Phi Nhung and I have a peculiar connection that has made us close and affectionate. It's a bond that connects us like siblings. It's been a long time since we've shared the stage, and now I only get to sing with Phi Nhung's children."

"COVID-19 took her away, it was unexpected for all of us. But she still left behind her achievements; her three daughters continued what she left unfinished," shared artist Trung Dân.

Quỳnh Trang, Tuyết Nhung, and Thiêng Ngân call Thoại Mỹ their mother.

Besides singing folk and sentimental songs, all three of Phi Nhung's adopted daughters aspire to become versatile artists who can sing traditional Vietnamese opera and act in plays.

In the live show "Dấu ấn - Cung tơ hòa điệu ," Quỳnh Trang, Tuyết Nhung, and Thiêng Ngân showcased their talents.

All three collaborated with artist Thoại Mỹ in the modern folk song "Lá sầu riêng - Con gái của mẹ" (The Durian Leaf - Mother's Daughter ).

Artist Thoại Mỹ said that she was initially hesitant when the organizers asked her to perform these two modern-style folk songs because Phi Nhung had previously performed them successfully.

"I try to guide the children, creating conditions for me and the three children to create the most harmonious performance possible," Thoại Mỹ shared.

Tuyết Nhung thanked artist Thoại Mỹ for taking the time to teach her. She also teared up, remembering her adoptive mother.

Thoại Mỹ comforted and advised them: "Although your foster mother (singer Phi Nhung - PV) is no longer by your side, if you pursue this profession, you must keep learning throughout your life."

"I use the love and support of the audience as motivation to hone my skills and create great works for everyone."

Thoại Mỹ promised to fully support Phi Nhung's adopted children. Before the end of the interaction, Quỳnh Trang, Tuyết Nhung, and Thiêng Ngân unanimously called Thoại Mỹ "mother," which was very touching.

All three performed songs associated with Phi Nhung's name, such as "Moment of Coronation - Harmonious Silk," "You Return to the Western Region," "Late Night Lamp," "Like a Drifting Water Hyacinth," and "Mother's Love in the Mekong Delta"...

In addition, Quynh Trang, Tuyet Nhung, and Thieng Ngan also performed songs that showcased their own unique styles.
