Students taking exams and enrolling in school get a discount on train tickets.

(NLDO) - Students taking the high school graduation exam and university and college entrance exams will receive discounts on train tickets.

In order to share and motivate students in the high school graduation exam, as well as the entrance exam and admission to universities, academies, colleges... Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has launched a preferential program of 10% discount on train tickets on all passenger trains.

The subjects of application are students taking the high school graduation exam, taking the exam and enrolling in universities, academies, colleges, professional and vocational high schools in 2025.

Accordingly, with each exam notice (or exam card) and admission notice, students can buy 1 ticket for themselves and 1 ticket for accompanying relatives, applicable for one outbound and one return trip.

Conditions for students to get 10% discount on ticket price

Students need to provide exam notice, exam card, admission notice and identification documents such as citizen ID card, personal information on VNeID application.

Tickets are sold at railway stations (not applicable for online ticket purchases). The program is valid from May 28, 2025 to October 31, 2025.

According to the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, the reduction in train ticket prices is intended to provide more motivation and reduce some of the financial burden for students and their families on their journey to conquer knowledge.
